I am very happy with the service from Roof Window Specialists. I had been looking for someone to replace six old leaky wooden velux for quite some time and was struggling - I had resorted to lots of silicone! Luckily I saw a Facebook ad and got sorted quickly afterwards. There was lots of useful advice at the initial site visit, fitting was done well and minimal wait. I especially appreciate it all being done in a day which minimised disruption as the windows are in our dining room. Roof Window Specialists brought a lot of crew to make that happen and get the scaffolding down in a day. Not bad to come home from work and the only difference is 6 new working velux!

I was renovating my bathroom so I decided to replace the 2 old style wooden velux windows with new pvc white ones. They look amazing, what a difference it has made, you can see from the before and after photos! They are brilliant quality and easy to open and close. The 2 guys who fitted them did a brilliant job. We recently had a Velux solar powered roof window and blind fitted by the team from Roof Window Specialists Ltd. From Mark coming to our home and doing the initial survey, through the fitting of the window by the installation team, our experience was smooth and trouble free, at every step. It was always easy to contact someone if we had any queries. Joe and Podraic worked on, even as a sudden shower of rain soaked them through the hole in our roof, to complete their work! Emmet finished off the window with his excellent plastering skills, and all the team, including Cathy, Siobhan and Stuart, were very personable. These guys were great - came out and gave advice about the size of window needed and it was spot on! Although the actual work was delayed by typical summer weather (rain) they got us in asap. It was a couple of hours to fit the window - new cut in so the guys made sure to leave us our roof tiles nicely out as spares, made sure to refit our ridge tiles well and left the room really tidy afterwards! Plasterer in the next morning and done a really good clean and smooth job!The window left the room so much more fit for purpose! The before and after with the natural light makes a massive difference!Reasonable price and easy to sort out payment!

We recently used Roof Windows to replace 4 old windows in our sunroom which had no blinds and were very hard to open due to ceiling height. The new Velux windows fitted with both solar powered opening and blinds are simply game changing. We can now control the heat and sunlight in the room so easily! The Roof Windows team were superb. A few months ago, the window in my roof cracked, and the frame rotted away, so I called Roof Window Specialist for a replacement.They came out within the same week to quote the job and provided me with several options on how they could get the new window up to the roof. They explained the challenges of working with a small terrace house, which might require cutting a hole in my ceiling to get the window into the loft. I was reassured that they would leave a clean finish.A couple of weeks later, the team returned and fitted the window within a few hours, without any stress or trouble. Importantly, the price I was originally quoted was also the final price—no hidden fees or unexpected charges. They also adhered to the times they said they would arrive, which was greatly appreciated. After completing the work, they cleaned the surrounding area thoroughly. I ordered a 5'x3' velux roof window ,it was delivered and and replaced a 30 year window. The fitters only took 2 hours and the work man ship was second to none , the quality of the product is fantastic and all rubbish was also taken away . Just waiting on the final invoice now . We'll please.

I had two replacement windows and one new one fitted (so a new cut out in the roof), I thought the price quoted was pretty good. Joe and Paidraig were able to do them from inside the attic, and had all three of them done in 1.5 days. Really friendly and left the place how they found it, so no mess left behind. I couldn't fault anything here, I'm really pleased and the new windows with the blackout blinds are great.

I have to say. I didn't leave a review at the time but these guys replaced 5 old wooden roof windows in my house in August/September last year.I now have shiney new white PVC Velux windows, much superior quality to what I had originally. All fitted in a day, no mess, very professional, cleaned up as they went along and took all cardboard and the old windows away with them. My house is now much warmer, quieter and brighter.A tad more expensive maybe than other makes but in my opinion we'll worth it.You get what you pay for.I'd have no hesitation recommending these guys.
